Warum das Ganze?

The Looner e.V. from Berlin has set itself the task of creating a community for balloon enthusiasts that offers both a safe space and a platform to share and celebrate their passion. The association stands for inclusion, respect and the promotion of a sense of community. It wants to raise awareness of the Looner community, reduce prejudices and represent the interests of its members.

The central idea of the Looner e.V. is based on the assumption that every passion and preference is an enrichment for the diversity of society. The exchange of experiences, networking and the creation of opportunities for Looners to express themselves creatively and safely play a key role. The association not only promotes social cohesion among its members, but also actively works for the recognition and acceptance of the Looner subculture in society.

The Looner e.V. aims to bring Looners from all over the world together and offer them a platform on which they can exchange ideas, support each other and live out their passion for balloons together. Through events, meetings and the planned app, the association creates space for networking and interaction, both online and offline.

A central concern of the association is to create a protected and safe space for its members. Any form of discrimination or stigmatization should be excluded. People of all ages from 16 years of age should feel comfortable in the community without having to fear prejudice. The issue of child protection is particularly taken into account through the content controls of the association’s own platforms, so that younger members only see age-appropriate content.

The association wants to actively work against the stigma that is often associated with the looner subculture. The association is committed to ensuring that people can speak more openly about their passion without fear of exclusion or ridicule. Another goal is to show the general public, media and industry that the looner community exists and has serious needs. This public relations work is intended to help improve the image of looners in society and promote positive acceptance.

In addition to the community work, the association seeks dialogue with industry to encourage products and services specifically tailored to the needs of looners. The growing attention generated by the association is intended to encourage the market to respond to existing requirements and provide innovative solutions for the community. For example, special balloons or services could be developed that are tailored to the wishes and preferences of looners.

Looner e.V. organizes regular events where members have the opportunity to meet in person, share their passion and create unforgettable experiences together. The aim is to offer these events to members free of charge or at very reasonable rates once the association has gained enough reach and support. Such events are not only intended to provide entertainment, but also to strengthen the sense of community and strengthen the bond between members.

We want to give our members the feeling that they don’t have to be ashamed of their passion and that they are part of a supportive community. The platforms that Looner e.V. offers are intended to promote the personal and creative development of members and to strengthen their awareness that they are not alone. As a non-profit organization, Looner e.V. is not focused on profit, but on the idea of community and exchange. The organization operates transparently and fairly, without pursuing economic interests. The goal is to create platforms and opportunities on which Looners can develop freely, without the organization itself or other third parties from outside having to earn money from it.

Looner e.V. wants to act as a mouthpiece and support for the Looner community. Its mission is to strengthen it, reduce prejudices, create safe spaces and, in the long term, establish a platform that enables Looners worldwide to live out their passion in a respectful and supportive environment. The association wants to promote acceptance in society and also initiate products and services specifically tailored to the needs of the community in order to support a positive development of the Looner culture in the long term.
